For some reason gas fridges are an oddity down here. If there is an A/C guy around he may be able to help you out.

just clean out the flue and the orifices. you should be able to find a schematic online. even if it isn't the same model they all use the same
principal.
what's the problem?

Clean it out with an air compressor - especially the long upright tube in the back which builds up carbon.

on the old servels its called the Klixon valve. But if the pilot is staying lit that is not the problem. If the pilot stays lit, but the burner will
not turn on (does not emit gas) then check the orifice and make sure it is not plugged. DO NOT run a wire through it. soke in Alcahol and blow out
with air.
By the way, depending on your model, user/service manuals are available at Maine Gas.

Have to second the recommendation to clean out the flue. Had the same thing happening to the moho fridge. Cover up the burner openings with aluminum
foil and bang on the side of the flue a few times. If black chunks fall out, get in there with an old toothbrush and brush the sides until you get
out as much as possible. Also, separate the burner tube from the orifice and make sure a spider hasn't built a nest in there or some other
obstruction. These are the simplest and cheapest possible fixes before you take the next step to replacing parts.

I replaced the Klixon valve on my old 40/50's style fridge with a retrofit model from Maine Gas. Works nice. old model you used to have to hold in
for 5 minutes. new one 30 seconds or less.

I agree with the above....Servels are simply bullet proof and the only thing that goes wrong is dirt and sometimes rust on a part here and there. No
moving parts.
We had one that sat unused on a porch on the beach for 22 years. Turned it upside down, cleaning it out and it made ice in three hours.
