pinturas rupestres north of La Purisima

While staying at Posada del Angel in La Purisima, Quithy (like meow) told me about some great rock art along the road to Agua Grande. I didn't write down the name of the ranch and name of the location, so got confused when I looked at the map. However, she said if we asked, we could probably get directions. Dunno. Hope someone can help.

There are several sites along that trail..

Aqua Honda and Aqua Puerca up past Paso Hondo..
Then "Cuvea Colorado" closer to Agua Grande..

Happy Trails...

Ridge: Thank you, I stand corrected -- Pinturas rupestres.

LaTijereta: The one site was discribed as a huge wall of whales, humans, etc. It's a protected area, whatever that may mean. Is Quevedo/Quevado the third site you were mentioning? I guess I would have to stop at each willage and ask, because we did not see signs for any of the sites/ranchos you mentioned, although they are in the "almanac." Any more info you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
