I never thought hardcore Jeeps can go that fast. Are they really geared that low (numerically)?

You didn't get my sense of humor. At 85 - 90 m.p.h., the Jeeps would probably all spin out, rollover, tip, etc. We'd have Jeep pandemonium across
Hwy 1. No need for bad press.

Along Hwy 1, the Jeeps maintained a top speed of 65 m.p.h. (65mph x 1.6=104 kmhr for David K).
A few of the Jeeps running 4.88:1 gearing revved near 3K RPM at 65 m.p.h.!

Big money, but great times. Pay to play. Go big or go home. It's all the same.

The action was all video taped. Don't worry, I'm working on it soon.
The open hoods are from the ubiquitous York Compressors either running air tools or compressors for airing up the tires.
