Exclude none but caution with Monterey.
If you have months to decide...check every morning with credit card in hand.
We got round trip tickets to Guadalajara in March of 2013 for $37 each way!
Called my buddy...he got same price for La Paz in same month.
For that price any place is worth a weekend if you only have that.

Aguascalientes. Then rent a car and head to San Luis Potosi and search the desert for peyote below the town of Real de Catorce.
2nd option is fly from TJ to Mexicali, just to see how long of a flight it is.

In all seriousness, I'd say Oaxaca.

Depends upon what you want to do once you get there and when you're going.
Always at the top of my list year round are Oaxaca, D.F. and Puebla. From Sept. - May are the beach cities and Yucatan

The $37 Flights on Volaris were obtained on 5/17...and yes I do peruse the Volaris website on a daily basis when I get up somewhere between 2:30 and
3am (body still thinks I want to go surfing before school). Volaris only takes reservations some 300+ days in advance and the deals are usually at the
far reach of that limit, usually in the last 40 days or so of that extended permissive period. For us this makes it a lark more than a planned
holiday.
Most of the time I just happen to chance upon the deals although they do a coupon thing once in awhile, but I have found the coupon (#) is a deal on a
raised price.
I've been able to get these prices several times although $37 was the cheapest so far. Another benny is that I can get the first seats at the bulkhead
and the extra leg room although I have found the leg space to be pretty good on Volaris. The only bummer is that the stewards don't prevent people
from filling up the overhead on their way to the end of the plane where their seats are!
The only other problem is that there are so many places to go when you find the deals that you can end up buying more and then figuring how to afford
to stay (even if just a short 4-5 days) in all those places.
And then of course...you have to stay alive for those 9 or 10 months until you get on the plane!
One other tidbit...having obtained tix to Guadalajara AND THEN looking at how to stay and what to do (we have been there several times in the distant
past). We found a nice place in Tlaquepaque called 'Olivia's Apartments' that look excellent and the unit we reserved was only $200 for an entire
week. Thats less than $30 a day and a pretty good deal with a unit you could live in for months (also great monthly prices).

Yea Joe...they ended at 11am that same morning
Don't give up! Check every morning and if I find a deal I'll post it asap...although you have to check the boards everymorning...so you might just go
to Volaris as early as you can...every morning.
Marla...They don't always fly to destinations on a daily basis and sometimes infrequently...just got to keep checking and pray they don't cancel your
flight if you find one for those places.

Hey Marla...just looked at flights on Feb 7, 2013 and return Feb 12, 2013 for $211 to Los Mochis. I always look at Thurs. depart and following Tues.
return for the best deals. Is $211 reasonable round trip? ($107 ea. way).
