got it Ken, thx!!

i have one we took in the 80s but it is on beta. We did a total prop tour and did a narrative on all the amenities - me on the mic and janeen on the cam.
it was hot and we were drinking and having a blast. kinda campy but very funny.
i need to get it on digital medium one day and post to Vimeo.

file is large at 200 megs FYI for 6 minutes.

Q - was your baron there? and what was the single - a sierra or musketeer? all beech i saw the logo.

the lady pilot of the single was who?? i swear i know her.

nothing like PSFO. you captured the bar before they took out all the memoriabilia like the photos etc. My fav is the one of Genaro's dad and uncle, the founders, wearing the old garb and bandaleros!!

congrats on sharing that Ken!!

Thanks so much Mike. It was kind of a garbled video but it did get some of the spirit of the place. Yes, Baron 30SD was there, it was parked next to where the lady pilot parked and you saw it once or twice briefly in the early part of the video. The lady pilot's name (at the time) was Judy Hurt. She had just got her license and this was her first trip PIC to San Francisquito (or anywhere in Mexico). I think it was a Sierra but I will confirm with her. She flew out of the Beech Aero Club at Van Nuys.

PS that was October 1, 1982. Mija Coleen did the video, I will ask her if the file can be made smaller.

Saludos, ++Ken++

well 81 or 82 was our 1st time there too. can't believe its been 30 years and 3300 hours later! sometimes we camped, sometimes we palapa'd.
the evenings were magical. i always did a wood hunt for afternoon exercise. we BBQd daily.
have no idea if i'll get to return. It has changed so much though i am not sure if it matters to me.

Thanks Ken... we went there about 1983 and camped on the far end of the beach... it is/was one of the top beach spots in Baja!
