"Kevin's" house in Asuncion S O L D to the perfect couple!!!!

Although we all sadly miss ole Kevin in these parts...the new nomad lurkers that bought his house are the perfect people to fill the void. I admit, I was astounded nobody bought this place for a long time as it has soooo much potential and was a great deal. But as other things...everything happens for a reason...Jim & Tony were meant to have this place.

They are here for the first time and already zooming along making improvements and getting settled. I am so happy to see buyers that actually want to LIVE in the village instead of just have a vacation home. They fit in perfectly with Asuncion life and will be a great addition to the community. Toni makes a mean beet dish for the potlucks with Nancy's fresh beets from her garden and she was a bartender so knows how to entertain and put up with drunks!!! Jim is already teaching Roberto and his building brothers some new words and techniques. They are learning spanish fast as well as the ways things get done (or not done) in these parts. Here is Jim amazed at how hard it is to drill through the concrete walls here...notice the first thing he did was to get his rod up!!!haha

They have a wonderful attitude, sense of humour and enthusiasm for their new home that cant be beat. They start today on a new addition...welcome to the neighbourhood amigos...we are sooo glad you ended up here. It is going to be so fun helping get your gardens in with all our cuttings.

They sound like great people, I'm looking forward to meeting them.

They bought it one day before I was there to look at it.

Lucky couple!
