Fandango Fronterizo- Friendship Park

July 14, 2012

The fifth San Diego-Tijuana Fandango Fronterizo took place on both sides of the border today. Musicians gathered at San Diego’s Friendship Park and in Tijuana near the Playas de Tijuana lighthouse. It sounded like a must see as I enjoy Son Jarocho music. I wasn't the only Nomad to have the same idea, Diana and John were there when I arrived with Diana burning up SD cards in her Canon. It was a great time, music and dance, and meeting up with old friends.

It was a 30 minute walk from the parking lot to Friendship Park, unless you had a horse!

there was music on both sides of the fence

Thanks Goldhuntress.

It was the kind of event that you want to experience it rather than photograph it.
