1200 year lease? Maybe he means $1200 a year is the lease payment.

Be sure you completely understand what this deal is....there is a new (about ten years ago) land lord there and he's raised the rent once by 400% and seems to be losing his shirt on a plan to build a "resort" there....once had a web page advertising that with a photo of a nicely paved road up to the place when the only paved road was at least 50 miles away.

This offer to sell is pretty feeble...no details and some confusion that may or may not be on purpose.

Punta Final was owned by la Donna Josephina and it was part of her el Rancho Santa Ynez...at Catavinia. Her heirs sold Punta Final...allegedly for $1M...to a Korean with Mexican citizenship who owned Hispanic grocery stores in the US and Mexico. He has started and stopped building a bunch of condos at Punta Final and he's bulldozed a road to the beaches in the local coves there.

It has been said...I don't know the facts...that the local homeowners at Punta Final have a law suit against the owner over a bunch of stuff including the new rent.

I think you'd be well advised to check this out personally and completely before you write a check.

Here is more info on the house for sale in Punta Final. I'm doing them a favor and posting for them.

Kevin Abel, and

Please repost this ad on Baja Forums. To clarify Mel Snider, President of Punta Final Homeowners Association, is owner of house forsale $20,000 cash in Punta Final, Yearly lease is $1200 a year. The Homeowners hired attorney and won the case against Kevin the Korean owner. The rent cannot be raised!! The house is surveyed and appraised and recorded in esenda at $65,000 last fall. The road is about 10 miles from Rancho Grande. When the road paving reaches Rancho Grande the price will increase. Mel Snider has cancer and is looking for quick sale. House is 5000 square foot, The big blue one next to Romeo's house and Bob Green's house. Please email to juddsnider@gmail.com, Mel's phone 619-770-8655 Judd's phone 775-815-8108. Question or concerns please contact!

Thank You

Woody how about 1/2? I haven't been inside the place, but have seen it from the outside from a distance camping on the point. I guess I'll just have to get back down and take a look.

Put the pictures on photobucket.com or tinyurl.com first. Then post the URL here and someone will help you display them.

If you can enlarge the photo, ( I can't, I'm on an old G4 ) it's the blue house in the background. This is when we were down in April.
