NEW Baja Plant and Field Guide c2012

I was at Discover Baja Travel Club today to show Carol our new book on the missions (a pre-publication edition), and the new Plant Field Guide caught my eye on their bookshelf... so, I had to have it!

It is about 150 pages bigger than the previous edition (1989) I have, and it looks great!

Discover Baja has about the most complete collection of Baja books on sale, and you don't need to be a member to buy from them (members get a discount).

Got mine there over a month ago so have had time to review the book.

Excellent, larger, more and better content, an indispensable reference.

I can't imagine there are many "new" plants from my original to the new one, only new text and photos

Thanks for posting, David. This book was purchased by the other half, and I haven't had a chance to read it since '07. Now, this is my chance to buy my own.

Yes indeed... thanks Judy, and I was going to buy a copy from you, if I found your store in San Jose del Cabo...! We will have it for our next trip south. It and the Reptile guide book usually always go south on our trips... It is fun to know something about what you are looking at, on a trip.

We looked for your shop as we drove around town on the many one way streets. Did not know where you were, just hoping we would see you. I met you at one of Keri's Pyramid Resort Book Signing, as I recall... but that was ages ago! After we photographed the front of the church (on the mission site), we left for Santiago and La Paz.

We attended the lecture given By Jon Rebman, the author, At the San Diego Natural History Museum last month. It was great.
