this was reported today in the YumaSun

Mexico is proposing a toll for the use of the Sentri lanes to the US

How many tourists use the Sentri lanes?

Mostly daily or weekly worker/shopper communters?

First SENTRI, then the Ready Lanes, then the regular lanes......and when traffic drops off, they will increase the tolls........

Actually if you read the article, it mentions the Ready Lane not the SENTRI lane. I have crossed using the SENTRI but not the new Ready lane. Who knows

Actually the toll is for the cost of construction just like it says. Do you think after the construction costs have been met will they get rid of the toll? Of course they will.....:lol:

For me Ready Lane is still in limbo. It seems to me that cars in the standard, regular lanes stay about even with us. i know it has to do with who has their paperwork ready so Ready should go faster. Of course it is hard to tell when you actually get up to ready lane lane and you loose track of the other cars. maybe it is faster. Not sure if it is worth a toll though
