directions to Sentri Line
I know this question has been answered before but...my wife and some friends are planning to go Rosarito in a few weeks. I haven't driven down here in
the last two years. Who has the easiest, can't miss directions back to the Sentri Line in San Ysidro, or should we go back through Otay. It gets really
confusing driving back to the Sentri line hence the reason for always taking down there.
Another question, anyone stay at the Rosarito Beach hotel recently? Last stay there was a few years ago and I wasn't that impressed but that is where
our friends are staying.

I crossed back thru Otay yesterday, Mon. 11 am.,
wait was 1.45, as we approcahed Customs, we
realized we were in the Sentri lane, it was not marked
with cones, concrete barriers, etc. I did not get
that at all. To the extreme left were 6 lanes or more Ready
lanes, which appeared to be moving decently,
pulled into secondary, had this humpty dumpty
inspector who proceeded to tell us about the Albertsons
Mkt in Blythe closing, what a clown, he had a captive
audience, us, you have to chuckle at his simple minded
humor, another first, at the Military check after
getting on Blvd 2000, the Army guy asked to look in
the cooler, at which time he holds up a can of
Tecate, passing up the Pacifico, and asked for a couple
for regalos for him and his buddy, he probably
gets a case a day form us P-nche Gringos

We have only heard of police blocking it to make sure people actually have a SENTRI pass. One of the insurance agents in our office commutes daily to
San Diego from TJ (and has done so for the last 7 years) and has never seen it blocked where they were not letting cars with SENTRI go through. You
shouldn't have a problem amigo!

OK, thanks on the checkpoint.
Yes the 25 Peso toll from Mex 1 Toll road northbound to Corridor 2000 is new, instituted when they opened that ramp.....but well worth it!!!
