Highway 5 from Mexicali South
Just got in to San Felipe yesterday morning. The drive down was not too bad. Two short detours near La Ventana then a detour of about 10 miles. The
long detour was a little rough in the beginning but became better. Still made it to our place in about 2-1/2 hours, just before San Felipe. The rest
of the road is nice. Much more new pavement about to be opened up. Off to the dessert tomorrow little warm but its so peaceful.

Coming down Oct 12
I cam back Labor Day, and I popped onto some of the finished, yet, unfinished black top. Hopefully it will be further along in a few weeks. I blew
out my side wall on the way down for July 4 weekend.
Tanks for the update
PS where is your casa?

Unfortunately I am heading back home on Monday. I'll post the latest after I get home. Some friends just arrived in San Felipe and said it was better
than it was a week ago. One ten mile stretch and two short areas near La Ventana.

Nancy my Dear!
Hope all is well with you and the better half :-)
I have been sooooooo overwhelmed with this new farm venture....http://thenatomasfarm.blogspot.com/ ....that I haven't been to the SF house since
April :-( Am going to Rio Hardy for a 2 day'er and then to SF for a few days....then off to the badlands for several weeks. Maybe I can find lost
:-) Will be there the day after Thanksgiving.
How bout dinner?
Tacodawgtim ....txs!

Just got in. The detour is a littlte shorter than when I went down. Two real small detours and the third was 7 miles. It is between la Ventana and
the gold mines. There is quite a bit of asphalt laid that is not being used yet. Soon. As they say maņana
