Nomad Facebook readers out there?

I would like to see how many 'Likes' our new book page can get as it opens up some new features from FB... I will provide a look at a couple pages if the FB count gets to 40...

Please pop in, and LIKE the page for us!: http://facebook.com/oldmissions

Muchas Gracias!

Exactly! A popularity contest. Maybe more. No FB account either.

Just went there and liked. Down in San Felipe right now. Out to the dessert tomorrow. Pretty warm. Going to find the aqua caliente and blue canyon. Fresh shrimp tonight and al pastor tacos last night:biggrin:

It seems kinda meaningless without a "DON'T LIKE" option. It's the ultimate ego stroke.

Just trying to increase awareness for our new book... since so many use Facebook daily, just asking if they would pop onto the page I made and click the 'Like' button. I personally don't care for Facebook, but this is big with a lot of people... and the book is expensive to produce, so hoping to increase orders!

Thanks for asking Dennis.

Really I am just wanting to show more folks the book, and even if you are not interested, by 'liking' the FB page, your friends (who may like the book) can become aware of it!

Thank you for your support!

News to me, but I do have Norton anti virus on this machine... Of the millions of Facebook users, I would think any virus would be halted... or everyone is smart enough to have virus protection? So many use their Smart Phones to access the Internet and Facebook... and no virus worries then, right?

Okay, we are almost to 40 likes, thanks to the Nomads... as promised, once there, I will post a page from the book there.... probably one of the 48 mission pages.

David K. I understand, as well as I can without an account, but of course much is written about FB. It's a good way to make people aware of whatever and being a co-author of a history book is certainly something to be proud of.

The sample pages of the new book are on Facebook for all to see. It's a mission in Baja, too.

Great responses on Facebook, and 8 more 'Likes' since I posted two pages from the book there.

Book is going to the printer tomorrow, we should have the first 'commercial' copies to mail out by the end of the week, ahead of schedule!
