como se dice "grounding rod" en Espanol?
am pulling together pieces and needs for the start of a solar electrical system on my next visit down.

Spanish is so logical and useful. there are many ways to say things or share ideas in this "round" language. If it were me and I did not know the exact word....in this case I might say......y necessitamos usar un pieza de metal o cobre para hacer un tierra. Whatever....

Uh, if you are still in Oregon, go to Home Depot or Lowe's and buy one, or get a basic book on electrical wiring and it will have a picture or drawing of a ground rod or simply take a photo of one.

My wife who's Mexican told me its "barra de tierra" but she"s not an electrian so who's to say,good luck.
