Yellowtail workout for Sirenita!

Sirenita is honing her fishing skills lately and hauled in her limit of nice yellowtail yesterday...now she wants to deckhand for Juan!

Juan's tio Javier wasnt so lucky....he snagged a turtle & a sea lion got one of his YT but he managed to land this one.

Ken who is taking spanish immersion with me took the day off to fish with the family.

Izaak wanted to hold fish too

it was a perfect day, flat calm, no wind and lots of fish...limits of calicos too and shore fishing is hot hot hot as well.

My goodness how time does fly! Little Izaak is not so little anymore. It looks like the chrome jigs are the ticket. What else is bitting? How is the calico bite? And what is your prediction for fishing late November?

the calico bite is voracious...guests who have been fishing in their tinny call it a day after catching and releasing 100...gotta go deeper for the bigger ones and of course know the secret monster calico holes. There are still dorado around and shore fishing is excellent too.

chromes are great cause they jigged deep...the surface bite produces bonita and small YT...do deep dudes.

prediction for november is wide open YT bite...bigger fish every week...still praying for tuna.

Hope it still fits him by then.
