Current conditions from Mexical to San Felipe

No intense checking of cars going in Mexicali...as it was a few months ago.

Construction is all finished up as one enters Mexicali. (Yeah!)

Mex 5 detour for construction in only a few miles....and has a GREAT surface. Boats and RV's can zoom.

Highway thru the mountain pass is GREAT......lots of room for dodging the "over the white line..... in your face.... drivers".

Military check point had a new sign up......among the "do's and dont's" of the posted warnings was.......badgering or harassing the soldiers is a crime in Mexico! So...............I suggest you don't be an azz!

Leaving Mexico at the East Gate (newer exit) was simply amazing. Arrived at 5:45 P.M. on Friday and was out of Mexico in 22 minutes! I an still stunned!

Arriving in Mexico ...the users at 5:45 P.M. on Friday had a line all the way back to the bridge (about 3/4 mile)...going slow, slow, and slower :-( Many cuss words I am sure :-)

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.
