I Need A Little Help In The U2U Department

Ensenada Doctor just sent me the first U2U I was able to respond to in several weeks. The internet here is very bad but when I would click on U2U my inbox would be empty sometimes and other times have messages. I would click on messages and nothing would appear. I would then go back to the in box and everything would be gone. No notice. No message. Yet the message counter says I have more than 400 U2U messages.

I must be doing something wrong but I do not know what it is.

Help!

Are you clicking on the SUBJECT space?

David, like I told you in the U2U, I had heard about the good work you did in Tecate, helping out the poor, etc. even though you didn't have much yourself. Thank you for confirming the story...its nice to know there are still people that will take off the shirt on their back to help others.

It must have been my fault. The connection speed here is really glacial. Thank you all.

We've communicated this summer through several u2u's, no problem.

You were coming to Mulege for lunch with me then to buy dulce de mango from my husband's cousin who had reserved several quarts for you.

You didn't show up, call or even send another u2u to reschedule or apologize... maybe you really don't know how to do u2u's properly.

It's sad to see this site used in such a vindictive manner regardless of the veracity of the accusers. It just doesn't seem like the proper place to air out this sheit. As far as I know, DavidE hasn't used this site to offend or swindle anybody so why is it being used to accuse?

Well I heald back for months on this. When Debra's post was doubted and then removed then the two DK haters chimed in, I responded. Doug is welcome to remove mine too.

Never mind, I removed it... it was partially in support of an old friend who had asked me why I was silent when I knew what Dah-veed had done in the past... My answer was it was in the past... Hoping DavidE had improved, but alas he is still using people's good nature and kindness and keeping to his old handle 'El Codo'...

Sorry for the slip into drama-ville, and to appease those who know not about the past, let's keep it in u2u or ignore it.

shoot at least Dennis and I had the decency to take it off topic...you guys are too much...yes I admit I let a few things slip on topic but we've managed to be civil to each other for the benefit of the other Nomads...I think any personal vendettas, issues or revenge should be tried by the McFez/JoeJustJoe Jury...and all personal relationship woes and dirty laundry should be aired Off Topic.

I have heard so much negative gossip about some of you down in Bahia Asuncion, I got personal U2U's about one person that is posting on this thread from another person posting on this thread (NOT David E). I don't know David E, all I know is I read a glowing report from someone not on this board about him, and the person that wrote it is generally pretty nasty and cynical, so yes, I tend to believe him with confirmation from DavidE on the story yesterday, so that's what my post was all about. Why all of a sudden are people using this venue to libel someone? I never read anything bad about him here before...like I said, JoeJustJoe and McFez have the decency to use OFF topic to talk about certain members, in this instance I totally agree with Goat...keep the libel, slander and speculation off topic please, especially about other Nomad Members.

I asked where you were going with all of this Diana, that is all I asked you. Don't make it into anything more.
