I understand about contact info

as popular as the place is you would think it would be alot easier

one time I did have an email address in Chula Vista, I think for the owner and we made reservations for a group of us
but the last few times, I am unable to find the email address and just showed up and got a room,
but that can be a cra..p shot if they might be full

It's been a long time but I used to get in touch with them pretty reliably through the Rancho Grande store:

Great news on the email working... Now, do let us know if Antonio has any clue about it when you arrive! (Hint: don't get angry just play it cool, have a beer, say you guess you will just be sleeping in the dining room (or on the beach)! Magically, a room will become available once Antonio sees you aren't a jerk... LOL (That is how we have heard it goes... no personal experience since we camp and the last time I stayed in a room there was 1967, 30 years before the motel building went up. They rented rooms next to the kitchen).

Great place to stay. Do not expect to see a room key given to you :-) A few years back....none of the rooms had locks. Part of the fun being in Baja......

Yup, with the paved road, that great feeling of not needing a lock will change...

Here is Antonio and Marta between Baja Angel and I in Nov., 2006 (long time co-manager and cook 'Irma' had recently moved back to the city):
