Fishing Report Bahia Asuncion..new photos & update

It has been a perfect week for fishing....the visibility is nearly 50'...not much swell nor wind, air temps in the low 80's, water temps in the very high 70's and a wide open yellowtail bite with bigger fish down deep. Easy limits real quick then off to haul in some calicos and bonita for smoking.

Ron, Jerry & Mike who flew into Asuncion have been happy with their catch both panga and shore fishing.

Shore fishing is outstanding with nice big corbina up to 20"! sunset at the town beach is a popular spot to be...

Birddog caught his first fish from the beach tonight...a double header at that...he is so stoked!

even the sand crabs are fat...the corbina LOVE these critters

Our guests that have been kayak fishing are thrilled with their catch too...pretty awesome there is still halibut in the fall.

There are dorado around too but most anglers here arent targeting them.

Wish I was there to take part in the surf fishing bounty. Maybe next year I'll have a place and will spend some time there playing.

Today the boys were super stoked as they caught 10 different species!!!The big surprise was when Mike Peyroux caught a nice wahoo on the surface as he was reeling in a scrambled egg iron! Their mixed bag consisted of yellowtail, dorado, wahoo, barracuda, skipjack, grouper, calico, sand bass, white fish & bonita....the only thing missing are the tuna....sheesh!

Ron caught his personal best YT too and a dorado on his bass rod!

we just put up a new fish display...its' not done yet but we hung a few of their fish on it anyway.

We just put it up as a fish hanger but needs some modifications...and Nancy to paint the name real nice. ( I just put some text on it to see what I might want on it) Perhaps you didnt know we have a new name? People were getting confused with the other B&B so we have changed our focus a bit...although our regulars can still get breakfast!
