Baja Surf, Fish & Camp Trip

Had an awesome time exploring the cliffs, beaches & points below Ensenada. This was the first of many trips south of the border. I'm now addicted to Baja and not sure how I will be able to beach camp in CA ever again. There are two things I must do: Learn some conversational Spanish & beef up the suspension & tires on my trailer, they took a beating on those washboard dirt roads

Welcome to the Nomads. We might have crossed paths down there as I just returned from a trip with my son in law to Bahia Asuncion. Next time you go, if you have the time, try to make it down to BCS. Good surfing, good fishing, good food, GREAT people!

Two dirt roads diverged in Baja and I, I took the one less graveled by......

Awesome photos, amigo.

I would try the Rosettastone course. Two of my friends have accomplished a lot with it.

Nice pics. Consider leaving the trailer home. You seem like you appreciate what you find at the end of a long washboard road. Not fun in a trailer and could result in an adventure you weren't looking for.

I have stopped bringing trailers down. I now take the washboards at 40mph+

No worries

Yeah man. That's the stretch I fell in love with 20 years ago. I had my bachelor party on that beach. Baja dirt gets on you and won't wash off.

one of our favorite things is to pluck mussels from the rocks away from the cities (where run off is natural, not full of feces and oil) and steam them up with some marinera sauce......mmmmm.
