Yellowtail keep getting fatter in Asuncion!

the yellowtail are fattening up nicely these days and will continue to grow over the next couple months. My real brother Mike is here and had a fun day on the water with Birddog and Michelle...as always Michelle caught the first and biggest fish of the day! She rocks!!! they have all been having so much fun shore fishing and kayak fishing all week....today it's off to San Hipolito for a lobster feed....yeah baby!

Ged was just being a bit judgemental in a different post, I think he's better now, we all love ged.....kinda...

The lobster pictures brought back memories of our trip to San Hipolito a couple of years back (was it really that long ago?) what a good time.....

A San Hipolito outing is a favorite little road trip for us....this time it had special meaning as it was part of a rescue mission for a sailboat in distress that had a fire onboard in San Hipolito...kudos to our family there who helped them out.

We managed to help the captain Casey get his alternator fixed, collected his crew member who had to fly home and my dear brother will help him sail the crippled boat to Asuncion today so he can get all the problems fixed before the couple continues on their cruise....go team.

A great excuse to dine on lobster with the family...here is Tita preparing them in the kitchen while the rest of us suck back cerveza outside. She also prepared an outstanding pulpo c-cktail for us and the visitors brought yummy things to add to the feast like Nancy's famous cinnamon buns, Zoe's salad, Jane's cookies and another couple from Australia arrived on another sail boat with fresh caught yellowtail.

Here is the motley crew
