Paving those POTHOLES on the Vizcaino-Asuncion road!!!

Wooo hoooo...lets have a big round of applause for the paving crew who are laying down blacktop where the worst stretch of potholes....er craters....were near the Asuncion turnoff.

Seeing all this equipment was a very welcome sight and so half the nasty part will be sweet in a few more days just in time for the holiday visitors.

but beware the other part of the road closer to Vizcaino as there are still some very very bad holes.

YES YES YES....the new pavement is lovely...but there are still bad potholes on the section after Vizcaino so you still have to keep watch for those nasties...but half of the bad section is now awesome....lets hope they pave the other part soon too.

Potholes are always a nuisance, but not a dead end on the road to Paradise.

"The Road to Asuncion."

Now...it's the Dunes that I really love...when you hit one at 45 you get a real lifting feeling. Plus, maybe they will cover those potholes?

Tally Ho!

At the current pace, the pot holes should be paved over by our next trip to Shari's place.
