RUSTIC PINE FURNITURE - WHERE TO BUY?

Looking for the best place to pick up some rustic mexican pine furniture...this stuff used to be available NOB but can't seem to find it anymore.
Where is the best place to purchase in northern Baja or even NOB?

The best place to get it is in Guadalajara. Fly in, buy, have it shipped. The amount you save will cover the shipping, and you'll find a much larger selection to choose from.

south of rosarito on the road across from popotla theres a couple shops building pine furniture but nothing that ever struck my eye. however mid town rosarito has a couple artisan furniture stores with some beautiful pieces that are certainly worth a look.
you dont happen to be coming south soon are you??

How long since you have done this? I've found in the last three years that shipping rates from the mainland to La Paz are prohibitive, I imagine they would be even worse to the US.

There's usually a lot of that stuff on Craigslist. Search the furniture section for "Mexican" or "rustic". It might be hard if you're trying to get a whole set that matches, but if you're patient those show up too.

Most of my furniture is Rustico Pine I picked it up in South texas it came from central Mex 20 years ago. since moving to Ensenada I wanted a few more special pieces. I took picture's of what I had and carried the pictures to STERLING in Ensenada one piece I had was rather large and I had them make a duplicate about 1/4 smaller it looks as if it was made at the same time as the original things They are great but not real cheap.

Fausto Polanco has a HUGE (I'm bad at guessing size, but the downstairs and upstairs might total 50,000 sq. ft.) showroom in central Rosarito.

For many years, it has been a favorite of interior designers from all over California who make regular runs down to check out the new stuff and how it has been arranged into "rooms" They employ in-house custom designers for special orders.

http://www.faustopolanco.com.mx/site/

There is another design showroom about one hundred yards farther south, I can't remember the name of it, but it has a twenty-foot-tall, tin statue of a rearing stallion out front. Lots of selection in another very large space.

Fausto Polanco also has a showroom in Ensenada 1 block south of El Rey Sol restaurant. I've bought a lot of furniture from these guys. Not cheap though.

Casa Rustico and Faustos is the place to go

We furnished our house several years back from both of these places. Fausto has some amazing stuff but most of it is large scale but well priced for what it is.

Antonio took great care of us as Casa Rustico, I was nervous initially about leaving 50% deposits on the furniture that we wanted to order but everything came out perfect and on time. He has a decent amount of pre-made furniture in stock but can make anything you like. I brought him a picture of a Pottery Barn table and chairs and he did a great job replicating them at a fraction of the price and with a rustic flair. We later had him come to our house and frame out some mirrors as we were so impressed with his work and prices. Only bad thing about him is he is a Raider fan.

There is another place just South of Tapanco (same side of road) in Popolta that we picked up a couple nightstands and that little store had a lot of traditional pine furniture much like the one you posted
