GREETINGS! M needs a home, in Rosarito area

Hello,
I'm needing a 2 bedroom at least, with an enclosed garage, and an ocean view if possible. Furnished, or partially furnished with fridge, stove, washer/dryer. ONE STORY PREFERRED; Needed, but will consider easy access stairs. I have a sleep number bed and a twin for the guest room. I have end tables and a coffee table, that's all.
I need this to be within 10 miles of Rosarito Beach to be near the border and friends.
I have an over 800 credit score, and am anal about it. No worries for rent.I will be happy to consider visits if you want to pass through, Within reason. My budget is 400-550. I will keep the property as my own, repairs and cleaning kept up. I handle most repairs on my own, but expect repairs done if I can't handle them. I prefer a secure, gated, gringo enclave.
I have a 3 1/2 lb; 'no-bark' Chihuahua (seriously) who is very sweet. I also have 2 cats, both clean, housebroken with current shots.
My home in Laguna Niguel is up for sale and will go at any time. The demand is high in my neighborhood with scant supply, so my need is anytime, probably soon.
My email is,
writeme1@cox.net

I'm a great, responsible tenant, just looking for quiet and peace in my new home.

ANY info, or, referrals would be great and appreciated.
Thank you,
Michelle.

Looks like it! It's a bit south of Rosarito, but for $500/month... nice!

I know where that advertised home is....and is is only about 20 minutes south of Rosarito......no highway noise. It is right off and above the bridge at La Mission, on the toll road....nice view...

Mexico!! Where two can live as cheaply as one.....but it costs twice as much.....

It's a little far

I am going to be down to even counting gas milage. I wish to be closer to friends so it's not a $10 commitement to go see them. I truly appreciate the info, but I know there are closer options with the needed 2 bedrooms;.

BIG HUGS,
M

That's too bad....I know that area really well..and that is one of the best deals around...but she might check out the Cantamar area, that little enclave there always has places for rent.....

I know exactly where this is. I investigated a murder case close by there and talked to the woman who owns a real estate agency just a few doors away from this rental. The person who was murdered was a gringo and lived about five miles away and she rented the home on behalf of the owners. When I interviewed her she flat out told me "I hate gringos". Apparently she had a few bad experiences with a few and she felt they took advantage of her. I couldn't believe she woud make a statement like that in front of me. Everytime I pass by her house on the toll road I always honk three or four times hopeing I wake her from a nap.

I am not saying that she is the rental person for this home and she may have even died or moved on by now because of someones constant honking. The murder took place five miles away and I believe the area is secure where the rental is. It looks like a great house for the price and I like the walk-in closet! Don't see that much down here. The home is a short drive to La Fonda also. GOOD LUCK M-

Anything in that area out of a gringo enclave would be too isolated for me. It's not a good idea to be out on your own.

30 days to find a home.

I accepted an offer for our home and as soon as I sign the papers, I have to be out 24 hrs after escrow closes. So, now the serious hunt for a place in Rosarito Beach begins. I need to stay close to Rosarito as I don't want to be burning a bunch of gas to go visiting and shopping. My budget is about 400-500 a month for a 2 bedroom. If anybody hears of anything, I would truly appreciate it.

M ....don't forget to check into these links as mes1952 wrote in the other thread:

If you look on TJ Craigslist and vivastreet.com.mex you can find plenty of rentals for 2 bed at $500/mth or less in Rosarito or TJ. Check Quinta del Mar (where I live) as they usually have 2 bedrooms for 6,000 pesos (around $500) and they are furnished with TV and includes utilities and cable; you only need to pay for internet. There is 24 hour security with direct access to beach and they are pet friendly. They are located right on Blvd Juarez with easy access to TJ and the border and stores. I've lived there for a year.

Come visit La Bocana
