Trip is set, Will cross boarder 23rd Jan ( mexicali) about 7:00am, run to Ganzaga that day and spend the night. looks like a great place. Then next day make run thru Negro to Mulege. have done that part before but not the Ganzaga run.

Is there ANY cars on that run? ganzaga to Negro

No worries. 23 miles from Gonzaga to Cocos corner, much of this is smooth dirt/sand. Then 13+ miles out to the hwy 1, this is rough and slower, just because of washboard. Air down your tires if you have a way to air-up when you reacc the hwy. From here 1.5 hr to Guerrero Negro.

Just a note...... Get your gas as soon as you get to Gonzaga. They have strange hours at the Pemex and might not be open when you leave the next day. When you arrive pull up to the pumps.... it will look closed but someone will come out.

Indeed they close for siesta 2-4pm or when they have no gas! Fill up in San Felipe and you canmake it to Guerrero Negro or before there is a Pemex at Jesus Maria. Gas is also sold from cans at the L.A. Bay jcn.
