Dakar Rally

NBCSP(NBC Sports) is broadcasting highlights from the Dakar Rally starting January 5 at 11:30pm. In the Bay area it's on Comcast channels 81 & 723, if you have digital.

It has Motorcycles, quads, bad ass rally cars and moving vans.

Larry Roeseler compared it to racing the Baja 500 everyday for two weeks.

Check it out.

That would be Channel 220 on Direct TV. Too bad it no longer runs from Paris to Dakar.

Not sure what you have watched the last two years,
it has been in SoAmerica - this is the third out of Africa

Guess they got tired of packing off the corpses of racers that were murdered by the local fans as they drove through the villages.

Sad......

Yeah, no TV will do that.

I knew it had been cancelled at least one year. Never heard it was moved over here.

But then, racing isnt very high on my priority list.
