Tiger Woods visiting Baja?

Will the Tiger Woods golf course become a reality? Tiger has said he is "in" for the Torrey Pines Golf Tournament this month (Farmers Insurance). Does this mean he will be down to Baja to further his plans for an opening in the near future? Only his hairdresser knows for sure.

Who cares????

Tiger woods needs to put up or shut up. Has he ever completed a course with his name on it??? He is not the golfer he was several years ago....a legend in his own mind.

The Punta Brava course will just add problems in the Punta Banda area.

I was just thinking about that the other day. The guy pretty much paid his dues in more ways than one, and he is still No. 3 in the Golf World, so I think the American public should move on, he lost his family (albeit through his own actions) so I think he should be allowed to continue to play with no malice from anyone. Even Lance Armstrong is willing to admit doping to get back into the sport. Power corrupts even the best of us. He put his golf course projects on hold because of his loss of popularity during that time. But no one can deny he is one if not the greatest golfer of all time.

Oh wow, Dennis, you caught me off guard. For a minute I thought you were describing yourself! No, but seriously, Dennis, just think of the value and demand on your house increasing exponentially if Tiger is in town!!

I'm sure with that sterling endorsement you will be first choice if he is looking for a qualified Mexican doctor at his Punta Brava course.

Why thanks so much. Yes I do have the support of many of the specialists in town, such as at Velmar and Hospital Militar. They respect me professionally, and I am glad to have your endorsement as well, Terry.

Thanks John, whatever that means. I am not looking for a security job. That is probably more up Terry's alley than mine.

Hey Terry, I have heard you eat there occasionally. Baja Mama's has great food in my opinion. In fact, it's Italian night tonight, and if it clears up I will probably go there. It's also nice and warm inside on these cold Baja evenings.

Nope, you hear wrong..........Quit going before she "moved" from the beach location. Too much salt in the food, overbearing second hand cigarette smoke and cigarette ash dangling over the food is not my idea of a good time/meal.

I doubt that Tiger will come back to the project unless they start working on the course and right now it doesn't look like anything is in the future. I received a call from a friend of mine last summer who was the director of membership sales for the course and he told me that if I had any prospective golfers interested he could sell tham the "initial memberships" for 50k. He also told me that this membership would for sure be worth 250k in a few years after the course was built and no more memberships were available. He also said that construction was to resume last October but that never happened. Personally I believe that this project is a dead duck. Also it has to be the worst place to build a golf course. The wind is always blowing and most of the time it's like victory at sea winds!!!! I don't want a course there. it will change this beautiful area forever and the traffic will be really bad all the time....

Maybe if we get the Telcel, Tecate and Anthony's chicas to make an appearance at Punta Brava he will stop by to view the progress on the construction of the course, maybe.

Then he can jet over to Dubai to watch the desert reclaim his other project.

Sol is pitching an idea to Brian Tucker to convert it to the world's largest water park. He said it is a much more viable idea.
