You're discussing the place by the gas station. We have had many breakfast there. It's cold inside even with a fire going. The food is good, the
service is spotty. They will do all they can, but a large group without any notice would be a problem for anybody. I would go and expect to wait or be
served unevenly. I like the Huevos rancheros. You will fill up most of the place, go have fun,it's Baja.

we stoped there last year the people are very friendly and the food is ok,
neet little place. if you can make it to San Quintin, there is a great place
right hand side going south, Viejo San Quintin. next to small park. great food.

If for some reason Palomar doesn't work out I have another suggestion. Just down the road in San Vincente is a good restaurant called Valentina's.
It is next door to the Pemex. We have been eating breakfast there for years.

Viejo San Quintin is very well managed and nice. Very Gringo friendly, large and great service. It is owned by the same people that own Jardines
Hotel.
No worries

Thank you
For all of your suggestions and recommendations............
Since we will have a (group, gaggle, flock, covey, pod - pick one) of females, I think the farthest we can go without eating or stopping to, um, well,
you know... would be San Vincente.
Problem is that there will be about 16 of us in our caravan....would like to get served and eat breakfast in a reasonable time. May have to set up
something ahead of time here locally.

Large group of females = hearding cats.....good luck with that! I've eaten at the Palomar several times and it has always been good....but then
again, I was alone or only had one cat to heard......

Hello bajaguy,
I doubt you could go wrong at Palomar. This has always been a good place to eat and stay. An old-time favorite, we've stayed in a
RV across the street under the trees, in the RV Park, and in the motel. You can take your pick about RV or motel. Nothing super-fancy, but we all
got a good night's sleep and were well-satisfied. I would choose a room away from the highway ..late-night trucks slowing for the topos...speed
bumps.
The menu is all good, but my favorite breakfast there was huevos rancheros. Has good service in cafe and bar all the times we were there.
Here's a couple photos of El Palomar in Santo Tomas.

Friendly locals....
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me.

Another option just slightly north of Santo Tomas is Acambaro. Good food and a cool atmosphere....

How much did you have to pay for diarrhea? Like anything else in Mexico, it's best to shop around. You, being a diarrhea expert, should know that.
