We traveled to Ensenada on Thursday the 24th and started our offroad trip there. Arrived and got unloaded for our weekend adventure. Friday we headed
over to San Felipe via Ojos Negros and Diablo Dry Lake. The trip started out in the rain and we were continually in and out of it. We stayed Friday
night at El Cortez - great as usual! On Saturday, we headed south to Huatamote Wash and went through there. It was beautiful and no rain! We continued
on and headed to Mike's Sky Ranch. Lots of mud and rain - not ideal conditions! Stayed at Mike's Saturday night... Sunday we headed out back to Ojos
for lunch at a cheese factory. Really cool place and highly recommended! La Cava de Marcello, I believe was the name of the place where you eat down
in a cellar surrounded by cheese! Following lunch we headed back to Ensenada and on home. I haven't had time to post any pics, but a friend put
together a video. Here is the link:
"If it were lush and rich, one could understand the pull, but it is fierce and hostile and sullen.
The stone mountains pile up to the sky and there is little fresh water. But we know we must go back
if we live, and we don't know why." - Steinbeck, Log from the Sea of Cortez
"People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." - Theodore Roosevelt
"You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them or to them." - Malcolm Forbes
"Let others lead small lives, but not you. Let others argue over small things, but not you. Let others
cry over small hurts, but not you. Let others leave their future in someone else's hands, but not you." - Jim Rohn
