Santa Agueda Cabalgata Sat. Feb. 2, 2013

Just a hair south of Santa Rosalia in the mountains.

Wow, lots of riders. Very cool. Love the kids especially. How far was the ride?

What a magnificent album with so many fine looking animals & vaqueros...gracias. I loved the photos of the two holding hands and the 2 little kids riding...lucky ducks for getting to participate in these cabalgatas!

Do you know when the caalgata to Ojo de Liebre is? I think it was the first week of March last year.

It is a very short and very laid back ride.

Started at 10:45 rode 13 Kilometers and then had a carne asada lunch by the water.
Rested awhile and then had about a 10 minute ride into town.

Old, very pictureque town. Then the festival with bicycle circuits, horse races, dances, more food and of course the c-ck fights.

But a GREAT expericence.

And there were more families, women, girls, and children in this ride than any of the others we have been to.

Very impressive to see the kids getting to know this side of life.

That was what I was impressed by too were all the kids and mujeres...I like the idea of a shorter ride so more kids can participate!
