There are facebook friends, and there are true friends
We were on our way out for an afternoon at playa Tecolote and I saw them leaving the taco stands across the road from the Pichilingue ferry terminal.
As we approached, this procession meandered across the road in front of us and we slowed to enjoy the dynamics of this interesting group. Waiting for
the delivery in a panga up the beach were 6 more noisy gatos, some puppies, and assorted seagulls.
A calm, orderly, and well behaved bunch and I got the impression their friend routinely collects scraps from the restaurants for his friends.

I love that photo...and can relate.
Every morning for decades, I've been happy to observe some strange human and pet combinations walking along my seawall at Coyote Bay. All resident
neighbors at one time or another.
Ponytail Bob and his shoulder-parrot.
Young and Old with Dobermans, with Labs, with Shepard, with Shelties, with Blue Heelers, with Poodles, Heinz 57's, etc, etc.
Kelly and his ship's monkey.
Eldery couple and their sometimes-leashed coyote, Lucky.
Johnny Tequila and Cuervo the ship's cat. (RIP...alas, eaten by a coyote)
Having coffee on that seawall is a Hoot!

I like it a lot also. I hope for responsible spaying and neutering to avoid the ugly stuff we have all seen.
I have shared that photo on Valentine's Day.
I like that Coyote pic too Pomp! Adaptation is their strength. It's surprising they have not become pets to everyone.

Anyone know who the man in the first photo is?
Might it be La Paz long-time resident and good-spirit Rainbow Hawk?
He was recently asked to move his camper from its downtown parking spot.
Anyone know his present locale? Perhaps he's moved to the beach.

The picture was taken in September of 2012. When we stopped to take some photos the man said in Spanish "take photos of them", the animals. No camper
around, just a few pangas on the strip of sand that's next to the road.
