Thinking about running down to GB ?Thur thru Mon...camp, fish, relax Fri Sat watch race zoom by on Sun...return Mon from AZ crossing at San Luis.....

We were there not to long ago...camped at Papa's for $5 a day pretty much alone. kayak fished off the camp area and relaxed until race day. We joined a group of the local Gringos at the entrance to Papa's on the north side rise and had a view of the racers coming down the switch back to under the new bridge and then right up past us! Was pretty awesome as you can see in my wifes video posted on youtube.

Also the Papa's family sold tamales while they watched the race with all of us!

most likey a guy trip...no frills...not sure for a short trip if Id haul the boat down or not...make better time with no trailer...full moon that weekend and big tide shifts...probably have to haul it in and out every day...new moon, we could just anchor off the beach like last year...we'll see...
