Nomad Whale Watch...AMAZING!!!

Our Nomad whale trip was a great success...much thanks to Bajaguy for all his efforts herding cats! The first day was windy and a bit rough but we saw lots and had fun getting bumpity bumped by an exuberant calf! We had a marvelous dinner at Las Cazuelas with the gang.

But the next day was golden...flat calm, glassy and sunny...the whales were happy with the weather as well and in jovial moods. We saw lots of spyhopping, breaching and enjoyed the company of a mother and calf for a long time.

we called this calf Lipstick because of the white on it's lips

and it was the first time I have danced on the head of a whale!!! I was perched up in the bow and couldnt reach here with my hand but managed to rub here with my foot!

AFter an amazing lunch at the lagoon restaurant, we headed back to Hotel Cowboy and had great tacos and Bajaguy held a beer tasting session of the fantastic beer that the 3 Brewjas are making.

It was a great couple days at the lagoon...cant wait for our next encounters in a few days!

For anyone still wanting to get in on one of our trips, I have organized more trips...we have space on March 4th, March 7th & March 10th.
