Mood: Enjoying Life with Wife In Mexico, Easy on The Easy

Trips and more Trips, YEA

Just got back from driving down to visit wife's cousin in Los Mochis and then onward to Mazatlan with no problems. Only went through one military check and it was on our way back outside of Hermosillo. They had us empty everything out of our SUV to be XRAYED. They have XRAY machines, big ones, like at the airports to scan your luggage, open car bags and even make you put your laptop on the dang thing telling you it won't hurt your computer. Well, in fact it didn't hurt our computer but I was not happy having to put it on the dang thing for fear of it messing it up. The toll roads outside of Nogales had about 10 miles of work going on, the toll roads just before getting into Hermosillo had about 30 miles of work going on at different breakouts. Had 5 miles here then 8 miles here and so forth. We still purchase the updated ontheroadin.com map online then download a copy to carry with us to make our travels easy. We could probably do it without the map now but we will continue to purchase the map that made our first run the easy enjoyable trip it was.

Now, in April we are heading down to La Paz for putting a friends ashes to rest where he requested by his home. Can't wait to get back to La Paz this is one easy restful town not a tourist town like Cabo. Really enjoy the locals, the business and their owners who bring that edge of Baja we all like to experience. "THINGS JUST BETTER WITH BAJA" forget the COKE and get the "COLD BEER!!" Hurry up April, as the urge for more FUN is soooo strong and time on our ever aging lives makes it even more important to go now. :bounce: LOL Take Care & Travel Safe-----"No Hurry, No Worry, Just FUN" bajafun777
