Bahia Concepcion Land to Buy or Lease

I posted this under real estate wanted but then
noticed how old the other posts are and so think
this might get more attention here

If anyone can recommend a source for finding
land to buy or least near the Bay - (either side
of the highway) I would appreciate the leads

thanks

My suggestion is to go to www.bajasurcraigslist.org.
I know it is in Spanish, but the ads are in English.
Get to the menu that asks for which type of property you are looking for, and type in the location, or city.municipality.

Lots of listings appear.

Check out this website, which is essentially a MLS listing for properties in Baja California Sur. There are a number of Bahia Concepcion properties listed.

are there no more lower priced bits of land
to lease there? I lived next that Puenta
Suenos in a nice little house for a few
thousand a year - the real estate listed
here now is more like americans doing
business with other americans - i wonder
if any locals have any of their own property left?

Wanda, there are several private families, ranchos, and corporations...who own land for sale along the Bay perimeter...on both sides. Prices can indeed be much lower than the ones listed here. Some owners are in Mulege, Loreto, and some are in faraway places like Mexico City. Some live on ranches that are quite close and some that are very distant.

Being it's your business, you must do that legwork yourself. I did that hunting 3 times in the past and it's only plain footwork...just as in the USA....easy. Just ask around...visit the municipal offices for maps and ownership records...beat the bushes....check all public bulletin boards...see all the local realtor listings and make your offers. The land you want is there. Get 'er done yourself and enjoy all the benefits!

Best of luck in finding your paradise.

Check with the edido in Mulege. They have recently surveyed and appropriated parcels of land for sale with full title available. Many ejido members also have their personal allotments for sale, too. U2U me for ejido contact information.

I believe there is some superb beachfront property at the south end of the bay on the highway side for sale....and is usually accessible from the highway.

It has some property developments that sometimes change hands
(hotel, restaurant, a few parked motorhomes/buses). It can be busy sometimes during the day when travelers stop for a bite and a cerveza...and sometimes apparently also sees some traffic at night.

I think the beach and property are is generally known as Playa Buena Ventura (which means "Good Fortune/Luck Beach!" if the name is spelled as two words). Not sure what it means if Buenaventura is spelled as one word or two :?:

Good luck with your real estate search.

;D
