road to gonzaga

Just came back from a road trip to Gonzagq Bay. The road (unpaved) was for the most part very good. The worst part was north of Puertocitos where it was supposed to be paved but the pavement was in shambles. The rest of the way, all the way past Gonzaga and Cocco' corners was very acceptable all the way to Highway 1. Cocco looks a little worse for wear with his only good leg black and ulcerated. He was in good spirits and was a marvelous host. Fishing at Gonzaga was about non existant with few boats available and the hotel semi-helpful. We found a private boat and caught a few Sierra's and Triggerfish. Can't say enough about the country, the views and the beauty of Baja. I would go again tomorrow.
