Her handle here is 'flyfishingPam' and she last posted in July, 2011. So, good question... where is Pam??

She was insulted and consequently got blown out of the water (so to speak) by one of the infamous now banned. She was a good contributor here as an all things Loreto reporter.

Another who went missing around the same time for the same reasons is Longlegs.

I wish Pam would come back, too!

I tell you what, Baja Nomad is Doug's board, and that he lets 'freedom of speech' flow even when it violates board rules or insulting good Nomads to the point they just leave, is his choice. Let him send flowers to Pam... I do think she desrves a bunch! :light:

Pam Bolles was not only an asset to Baja Nomad, but she is a respected advocate for the sportfishing community here in Loreto.......she is alive and well and has recently organized a great Yellowtail tournament...

Pam is a class act, and her Baja Big Fish Co is doing well, I'm told!

I sure miss her contributions here on BN as well! :dudette:

Haven't fished Loreto in a long time but Pam is the outfitter to go with there! Not like Arturo's boat rides.

Glad I looked in. Longlegs was my mia question? Who rattled her cage? Too bad; her info down here in BCS was invaluable. Come on back ladies. Pam & a few others were great Loreto advocates: Old Hippie another. Great legal/building info in La Paz area longlegs! Come back. Smiles Tio

I was just reading a thread about her on this website the other day. It seems that flyfishingPam quit here in a huff the day that another poster named Old Lady was banned by the moderator.

It appears Old Lady was banned by the moderator because she had complained that yet another poster called mtgoat666 was calling her "Old VVhore."

mtgoat666 is still a poster here. Old Lady was banned from here by the moderator, and flyfishingPam quit in anger because Old Lady was banned.

If I remember correctly, Oldlady threatened legal action against Doug for things that were said to her in off topic if he did not comply with her requests. After she was banned, the warning for off-topic changed and the personal attacks in that sewer are REALLY awful.

Just what I remembered. A few people threatened to leave over the banning; some did and some did not. I also believe Longlegs left for other reasons.

Hopefully, Pam and Longlegs will come back and speak for themselves since they are the only ones who know for sure why they left.

Pam is fairly active in a new forum "Loca's Guide to Loreto" As has been said, she is a great addition to this new forum.

Last time we fished Loreto for 3 days we ended up with too many fillets for them and the ice in our chests. Pam volunteered to let us freeze them in her freezer so we wouldn't need the ice. What a great lady.

I doubt we'll see either one of them taking the stand here to rehash the past. Old business is just that....old.
