Contact number for Baja Dogs in La Paz?

Does anyone know the phone number for Baja Dogs here in La Paz? We have two little dogs we rescued off the street but now we have to head NOB. The first is a Chihuahua that was skin and bones, in heat and being gang raped by the entire neighborhood pack. The other looked well fed but slept on our front porch for 4 days before we finally gave in and fed it. They have both been taken to the vet, spayed and deemed healthy but now that we are heading north we are hoping Baja dogs will be able to find a home for them.

Unfortunately no. I live in a rural area and they would likely get eaten by a coyote or one of the neighbor's dogs which are all primarily large breeds that roam the neighborhood in packs.

Also try putting a notice in the Baja Western Onion - they have a section called Pet Corner where you can post about lost and found pets and pets looking for homes.

Sorry I don't have a number for Baja Dogs - their website seems to be under construction and the only phone number listed is an 805 area code.......

Bev is local and can help you. Email her at bmdstudio@aol.com. Tell her Ron, Patty and Sonrisa say "hello."

There's also the Baja Pet Sanctuary which is in Rosarito. My vet here in San Diego works with them. When I find towels and bedding that people have thrown out, I wash them and take them my vets office. The last time I was there, he said that the Pet Sanctuary had just gotten in 90 puppies!

Thank you to all that responded. Headed home in a few hours and happy to say my neighbor, a full-time resident, stepped forward and accepted the dogs and will continue the pursuit to find them good homes.
