See all the scaffolding in front of Our Lady Of The Light Bulb? Story goes, they never take it down which makes it a work in progress. When the job is done, they have to start paying taxes on it. NoNoNo....don't want that.

Yep........that's the way the story goes.

So much sand! Thank goodness, we are at the furthest point north and we look towards town and Abreojos and all we see is white when the winds kick up.

Back to the thread, the park in Abre is really nice and inviting. The animal trash bins are fantastic. La Bocana could sure take some lessons.

Blanca,

It takes everyone being involved and a fantastic Delegada who works countless hours. It takes a lot of effort and work, plus the Town must be involved (not just a few people). Did you notice our spay and neuter clinic this week? Talk to the Mujeres En Acción (Chelo) to get participation ideas? Talk to the Delegada (America) for more. Thanks for your nice comments.
