TIP on a small boat?

Does anyone know if a TIP (Temporary Import Permit) is needed in Baja for a boat that is only 12 ft 4 inches in length? Does it matter whether you are of Inmigrante status or Residente Permanente status?

I was told that my 15.? boat was just over the threshold of 15 foot.

I believe the TIP threshold is 4.5 meters.

That's 14' 10".

So, 12 and 14 ft boats are under. 15 footers are over.

No, you do not need one for a boat that small.
