You should live in Phoenix, this stuff grows all over the place and the best part, no water required!!

We live in the Sonora Desert and every thing has a pricker on it!

Some of these plants are over 20 years old.... the first barrel cactus is the only one from Baja... and it was very small, maybe the size of a tennis ball then. Someone had kicked it over on it's side.... and I saved it. Now it is the size of a basketball!

May I suggest some clear plastic bottles filled half way up with "apple juice" to add that baja feel to the front yard?

Beautiful! The chainlink cholla next to your varigated agave Amercana is lethal...You should transplant a piece it under a window that you want to leave open on a hot summer night.

I told my neighbor to stop me if I ever started to line the yard with half buried tires or paint the tree trunks white.

Bring a shovel and come to my casa in Phoenix and help yourself. I am on 1.5 acres and the little prickers are everywhere.
