Recommendations for lodging in Loreto that provides boat parking.

Headed to La Paz in July towing a 23' boat. Planning to fish along the way. Can anyone recommend a hotel in Loreto that has space to accommodate my rig?

Alan......The Oasis at the south end of the malecon and the Desert Inn at the north end both have parking lots that will easily accommodate your Parker.

The Quinta San Francisco Hotel (across from the marina) has nice boat parking off the street.. Check with Gail, as she only has 5-6 rooms facing the malacon.. (613) 135-1088..

Hacienda Suites on Salvatierra has a large, fenced and gated lot behind their facility.

Last time I was there we stayed at the Desert Inn and had plenty of secure parking for the 23 ft boat we were pulling. I understand that this hotel has been sold to Los Pinos and may have another name now.

myself and different friends have stayed at hotel angra in loreto and it's the newest and nicest boutique hotel with better rates than the other big hotels. hotel angra's rooms are super spacious and extremely clean ( newer ) with king size beds, satellite tv, wifi and the most wonderful and accomodating english speaking hosts. large secured parking and a coffee shop. the location is very quiet as well.

two story domed and arched entryway. no very high profile vehicles due to arched entry.

very reasonable prices and pet friendly.

please tell them that james referred you if you decide to stay.

No doubt about parking there. I've always wondered why someone didn't buy it and make a real resort. It's got a huge expanse of beachfront.

But, as I mentioned in another thread, I'm not aware of the Los Pinos folks buying anything other than San Quintin and Catavina.

Any source for this? Curious.

Sounds nice but I think that arch entry will keep my boat out of there.

I stayed at Hotel Angra and really liked the place, but the lot was just big enough to turn around my 20' Bayrunner if there was another vehicle parked there. A 23' may be pushing your luck, particularly if it has a T-top.

Don't be like fishbuck and lose your boat.

You need secured park at motels. Backing in so the boat can't be unhitched otherwise. Another vehicle blocking a path.

I think most people know this stuff. Maybe not.
