Do stop at the museum; very informative and beautiful.

Anyone have a map of the region's wineries?

Taking their cues from Temecula Valley? OK.........:rolleyes:

I think it's pretty significant that the GV hasnt really hit upon a specific varietal that is their signature grape. Most every other region in the world has their one varietal that they hang their hat on. What is taking the GV so long to find it?

I really wonder just how many bottles of wine are sold from the GV vineyards. The only people I know who drink them (myself included) is when it is the house wine at a restaurant. Nobody I know who lives down here buys Mexican wines, unless they are complete cheapskates and buy that horrible Villa California wine in the 1 liter "milk" boxes.
