Our old poodle Tibby hates the water. Up NOB when I give him a bath you would think that I'm killing him. But it's another thing when he gets on the
beach in Bahia Asuncion. I'll put a small bit of wet sand into a water bottle to add some weight and he'll chase it out chest deep into the surf,
then come back up and roll in the warm sand.

Dog sitter
We used to fly a kite while camping to keep Mochi's attention.
I say used to because 5 weeks ago we had to put Mo to sleep RIP.

Most heartfelt condolences, Judy.
I've been aware of the Rainbow Bridge poem, but here's the whole website to sooth you in your time of loss:

Thanks
I hadnt looked at the Rainbow Bridge page in a long time
Sweet thoughts.
Now this will break your heart.
Here is Eta beside Mo's grave. For several weeks she spent a lot of time by the grave and she still goes down and sits there sometimes.

Oh Judy and Jaime, so very sorry to hear of Mo's passing, I had been wondering lately how they were doing as they were/are both getting up there in
age. I wish I could have made one more trip down to see both of them, oh and I suppose you as well : ) ). Much love was given and taken on both
sides, give snarly Eta a pat on the head and some roughhousing from me.

Does your dog enjoy the beach?
Mr Chukarhead loves EVERYTHING about the beach! She likes to dig, swim, surf, dive for shells and rocks, chase the birds, give taxi rides...

She also likes kayaking, and gets mad if you go out paddling without her.

El Vasco hates everything about the beach except being with his Momma, eating fresh sushi, and finding and eating dried up pufferfish(!)

He doesn't like going in the water or swimming (which is good, cause he's got epilepsy), the sand hurts his feet, its hot, there is no shade, you cant
drink the water, the bushes are stickery, the waves are scary, its a long drive, there is no big comfy bed... He is a "talker" so he lets you know
about this alot.
He does like growling and barking at the soldados at the checkpoints (Se Muerde!), or anyone else that gets too close to his rig. It does make going
through the checkpoints a little faster
