Finding ABC bus in Tijuana
With all the changes at the border crossing, can anyone tell me how to find the ABC bus? I have family coming to visit and they plan to take the bus
to Ensenada.

I walked across a month ago to TJ, first time thru
the new ped crossing, which as posted is on the
east side of Hwy 5, as opposed to the older west side
ped entrance, walked into the ABC bus station which
is located where it always has been, it is called La Lineia (sp), I assume to mean the line, as in border, as opposed to
the Central Bus Station 4 mi. east. Busses to Ensenada
every 1/2 hr. or so, about $12 one way from La Lienia
station. You walk into TJ thru the new entrance, this
is where it is a bit confusing, especially for a newbie,
you walk down a few stairs after you pass Mex Customs,Imm, then up and over the ped bridge that
goes over the vehicles going back to the US, it will
deposit you at the taxi area, where dozens of cabs are,
the ABC La Lienia station is 1 blk to the southeast from
the taxi area, I know these directionsare a bit
cumbersome. just remember the name for the station,
Autobus Estacion ABC La Lienia,
ask anyone for directions, obviously don't take a cabbies
advice to go to the Central Station

It does sound complicated, but it is simple
Once you are on the street, after having followed the crowd entering Mexico, CROSS the street and bear left. Go past the cabs. Go past a bakery.
Look for a bus that will be on a corner. Or look for the words AGUILA. or. ABC
You can pay in dollars for the bus.
Do they need their FMM? Entrance visas?
