Towing across border

Has anyone broken down somewhat close to the border - say as far south as Ensenada - and had their vehicle towed back across the border for repair? Is this even allowed?

Towing company

It is allowed if the towing company has the permits to operate on both sides of the border. If you tow it your self no restrictions going back to the U.S coming into Mexico is different
