Overnight in Tijuana

Just went down to visit family.

Not having been there for 10 years, I was impressed with the new traffic signals - but nothing else seems to have changed.

We found the fish market off Ocampo and were very pleased with the Marlin we bought for a decent price.

Blown away by the SRI lane. We didn't use it but at 11am still got through the border at Otay in about 40 minutes.

:saint:

Glad you found some fish but it is illegal to sell sport fish.

We bought it pre-packaged in a fish market so there was no problem.\

Side note - if you're looking for a nice overnight lodging, Motel Cortez on the main drag is nice. Clean rooms with very hot water.

On the other hand - there's a Motel Jardin [or something] on the malecon I would avoid at all costs!
