The Tin Man could have used the tin Don Kay in Wizard of Oz, perhaps?

I would add that to my yard art collection in a heart beat. Did it have a price tag? Almost afraid to ask.

Hey Paulina . . . Yo tambien!

The artist has made two since I've been here. When the first sold I realized how much I liked it. Will change color in about two weeks.

$600.00 U.S., plus I'd need to ship it to Loreto. That would buy some alfalfa.

If it's life size, it would be worth it. It's hard to put a price on artwork, for me it is anyway. I know the time, hours upon hours, the effort, the eye it takes to create something from seeing it in your minds eye to making it happen with your hands. Then the act of letting your creation go.

$600 would buy a lot of alfalfa, but then it would be gone. The tin burro would last a bit longer, get a name, and become part of the family. I don't think I would ship it unless I knew the person who would be taking it on the adventure.

With each sale the artist makes, the price is only going to get higher. I wish I had a spare $600. If wishes were horses, beggars would ride...

That's funny Mike. I sorry I missed meeting you. In the desert between Asuncion and San Hipolito, though, I walked along a string of burro tracks with SHOES, and felt I HAD met you.
