Cacti/Cactus -- Swap Cuttings? Plants? Out of San Flip ...

Also want to "ID" an odd one from Erendira ... initially it was dead-grey/gray (see lower half in pic) ... perked up after "some time" ... was knocked out of a berm.

I will not be on-site until turn of year (01/01/2104+)

I am happy to swap cuttings! I have a nice collection, a wide variety as my passion is flowers and seeing something blooming 12 months a year.

I once had a boojum cutting, lived for 18 years (1984-2003)... was amazing that it leafed out every year with long little branches, then dropped them to begin again. the main body grew about 4 inches taller. Termites got into the pot and ate it a few years ago.

If you go down to the nursery at the south end of town......ask for Jessica......she can help you name just about anything. They have a fine collection of cactus there too.

I would create a Face Book site for the San Felipe area.....for trading :-)

Jessica and her sister, brother help run this place. They have been will trained by Mama and Papa...which operates a nursery in Mexicali as well.

This SF location is about a acre large.

They have exotic plants there too. Tell Jessica that Deno sent you there. She is the one that we used to go out on Xmas weeks dropping off gifts to the children of the Edidos
