If possible, you may be able to call the 800 number on the back of the c/c to advise the bank you found Mr. Brown's cards.
You are a good person Felix...the world needs more like you!

Now you're talking, Karenintx.

Thank you
I tried but from mexico you cannot dial a 800 number to the States.
one is AMEX,MONTANA BANK,and Medicare.
I will find another way to report those.
Regards
Enjoy it !

Good point, Blanca.
You're sure to leave Immigration with empty pockets.
Hope all is well with this person.
Jimmy Christopher of Mulege is the local liason with the US Embassy, btw.
I can put you in touch with him directly, Felixmg. U2U me for contact info.

Irrelevant where it was found, but getting these back to the owner or his representative is what matters.
Options 1,2,3: Call the credit card company and speak with a supervisor; contact the Consular representative who happens to live in Mulege; ask
Immigration if they can help, again asking to speak with the director, not one of the office personnell.

burn it? may be replaceable, but sure is inconvenient to replace. may be most convenient if the "finder" can return to the "loser," seems like the
"finder" is being a nice guy to try to return it without pyromaniacal urges

A few years back, I was waiting in line to an enclosed ATM room at the bank....waiting......and waiting for a couple of young kids to finish with the
machine. It went to for a while like they were playing a video game.
They finally came out, stopping at me and asking if their card was right for the transaction, so I looked at the card and it had an Anglo sounding
man's name on it, at which time I sailed it out into the parking lot and told the kids to get lost.
Maybe I should have given it to the bank, but my patience at that point was shot.

I love it.
"Where are my cards?"
"Lost, but it's OK. they're all burned to a puddle".
"How do I get money?"

Dial "+" (CC) (area code) (number) and you don't have to enter the 001.
I enter all my numbers like that. Works to call/text to or from MX or any country.

the cards were seized by the police of santa rosalia to a couple who were arrested for extortion townsfolk.
That is the reason why I wonder if anyone knows this person.
Maybe he was victim of extortion or kidnapped.
I just want to help him.
